We had a screening of Wall-e here at the studio last Friday. It's beautiful, the animation (as always) is amazing, the soundtrack (by Thomas Newman) is fabulous. I highly recommend seeing this film.
My screening is tomorrow and I am excited for it...i'll let you know what I think. But I'm even more excited for Bolt, so I can see your work in action. Don't let me down, man.
I took my oldest daughter to see the Hanna Montana 3-D monstrosity (on Superbowl weekend, no less... there was ONE lone boy in a sea of moms and their daughters!),and it was the first time I saw the previews for Wall-E. I knew, from that short introduction, that this would be a movie I would absolutely love.
I'm so jealous that you've seen a screening of it already. I can't wait to see it myself (I might even have to cave and pay the cost of a movie ticket to go see it on the big screen). I'll definitely let you know what I think! :)
We took the kids to Wall-e for FHE last night, and we all loved it. They even gave the kids a wall-e watch Right after the preview of Bolt when it is all quiet in the theater, my little McKartnee says "Mom whats that dogs name?" me: Bolt McKartnee very loudly: Oh, I love Bolt. We got quite a few chuckles around us. We are looking forward to that coming out too.
My little Wyatt is so excited to see this. He keeps asking to watch the preview online.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I must admit that the first time I heard about this movie, I wasn't keen on seeing it. However, I'm thinking I just might need to.
ReplyDeleteI'm most curious to hear everyones comments on this film. I did not work on this one so whether your comments are good or bad I wont be offended.

xox,
Mama C.
Saw it...loved it, can't wait to see it again!
ReplyDelete"It only takes a moment..." Fantastic!
Saw and loved it. I cared so much about this character's plight and disagree with some of the criticism that it was "too preachy."
ReplyDeleteTo me, the setting was a story device to play as a backdrop to the bigger story of Wall-E and Eve, which was completely engaging.
I adored it! One of my faves. to date, I think.
