Star Trek

I finally saw Star Trek. The previews to this movie always looked so good to me, however, when one has children it's not so easy to get out to the theater.
Anyway, This film was worth the one dollar spent at Redbox...but I wouldn't waste a penny more. I believe my good friend Dave said it best, "JJ Abrams makes great shows...and this was not one of them."

Snapshot of Dailies

These are my notes from Dailies this week, it reads:

"Work in progress"

"Too tense" - Directors wanted me to back off a bit on the facial animation.

"Reese Witherspoon Legally Blonde" - This was a note from the Directors to go watch Legally Blond for reference...(an assignment my wife thoroughly enjoyed)

And the drawing at the bottom...?

Happy Birthday Joe!!!!!

Happy Birthday to my Best Bud/Brother Joe!!!!!

For his Birthday I decided to recreate some of the more memorable experiences from our childhood together. The Characters and events in this animation are NOT fictional. This amazing recreation actually happened.
It should also be noted that this brilliant animation was created completely on my Iphone...it is my greatest work.

Love you Bro!!!!!!

Golden Chili

We went to a "Trunk or Treat" party up at the church tonight. We entered the chili cook off contest...and won. We got to take home the coveted Golden Chili award.

It was cheating of course, this family chili recipe is legendary and has been handed down from generation to generation.
