Very Tough Decision

Today I officially turned down a very appealing job offer. It would have paid a lot more and was in an area where the cost of living would have allowed us to actually live in a nice house where the kiddie's could have a back yard..bla, bla..ect..ect. This decision has caused me not a few sleepless nights. Honestly if my wife had told me she hated California we would have taken the job immediately but as it turns out she likes living here. We discussed, argued, weighed the pro's and con's and prayed........a lot, and we both came to the conclusion that Cali is now our home, for now. My job here at Disney is awesome anyway. I love the direction the studio is going, they treat us really well (took us bowling today just to give us a break from animating) and the people I work with are........"wait for it"......awesomeamazingcool! The trick now will be getting a suitable place for the family to live in this ridiculously priced land.

Also, and totally unrelated. I just saw a poster for another X-files movie coming out in July. How cool is that?!!!.......I'm a loser.

Choosing love over money is generally a big thumbs up in my book. You're a good man Hyrum. Here's to many more fulfilling projects for you in sunny California! Cheers!

Those big decisions are tough! I know how you feel about housing. When I see what I could get in Utah for the midget house that we got here, it makes me sick. But like you, we feel that this is where we are supposed to be for now. Good luck looking for a house.

Sometimes the best decisions are the hardest made. As long as you feel in your heart that you've made the right choice, all the rest will fall into place eventually.

Just stay away from those darn tornadoes...!!!

glad you decided to hang around longer.

you will never be a loser for loving one of the best made TV shows ever returning for a second (and predictably just as great, if not better) film.
