Bitter Sweet Day

Twas a bitter sweet day at Walt Disney Animation Studios. For months now the animation staff has been waiting to find out who will be staying on at the studio and who will be leaving after "Bolt" is finished. The good news is that I will be staying on at the Studio to enjoy many more years of animation frivolity. The bad news is that many talented friends will not be staying on with me. It's a difficult thing that all animations studios have to deal with, hiring on lots of animators for a project but then having to let some go (even though they are really good) in between projects. The fact of the matter is that there just isn't enough work at the studio until the next project ramps up. We all still have a good month until Bolt finishes up, should be good times. I wish the best of luck to my animator friends. They all will certainly have no problem finding work.
